Overview

IIS Space were employed by London-based company, Area, to construct their design for the client Infosys. This fitout project for Infosys involved two buildings, both of which posed huge timescale issues.

The first building is in Booterstown, Co Dublin comprising a 25,000 sq. ft. space and was completed over a 14-week period.  The second location is Citywest which is a 30,000 sq. ft. building and was completed in a 12-week period.

    14 & 12 Weeks
  • SIZE

    55,000 sq. ft.

THE PROCESS

Turning open spaces into working places

The newer of the two buildings is Citywest, which posed fewer M&E complications as all equipment was in good working order. However, the Booterstown location required the installation of a new mechanical plant internally and on the roof top.

Both buildings offer fantastic open places spaces for numerous different teams to occupy.

Booterstown has fantastic views of the Irish sea and in terms of design this was maximised by positioning the dining and breakout spaces in these areas.

Citywest was constructed with multiple meeting rooms, as this is a client facing building. These rooms are flexible with moveable walls that can be altered from 4 person to 30-person spaces.

Infosys had a huge focus on Country identity in the Citywest location. A theme of mountain ranges, rivers and provinces in Ireland was used to identify areas and meeting rooms.

THE SOLUTION

Team work maximises the flexible use of space in two locations

During construction all timescale challenges were overcome, with both buildings delivered to the client on time. The fitout of both Infosys locations give the client fantastic work spaces with plenty of flexibility.
